Welcome to Brand.it Africa! By using our Site, services, or products, you agree to these Terms:

1. Lawful Use
Use our Site responsibly—no unlawful, infringing, abusive, or defamatory content.

2. Intellectual Property
All Site content (text, graphics, logos, designs, images, product innovations like EcoSwap™) is owned by Brand.it Africa and protected by law. You may not reproduce or distribute it without explicit permission.

3. Orders & Payment

  • Orders are subject to availability and acceptance; prices and descriptions may change without notice.
  • Payment methods are specified at checkout; bespoke items require full pre‑payment before production begins.

4. Memberships & Eco ID™

  • Subscribers receive a unique Eco ID™ granting access to rent, swap, buy, referral, and EcoCredits™.
  • Memberships are non‑transferable and governed by your plan’s terms.

5. Product Options

  • Rent & Swap: Members only. 7‑day term, renewable upon request and availability. Late or damaged returns incur fees or suspension.
  • Buy: Immediate ownership; modular pieces can be restyled or expanded.
  • EcoSwap™: Trade your piece for another and earn EcoCredits™.

6. EcoCredits™ & Creator Commissions

  • Earn EcoCredits™ for circular activities (swap, rent, buy, refer, review, recycle).
  • Enter a Creator Code at checkout to grant your referrer 10–20% commission.
  • EcoCredits™ are non‑transferable and may expire; see your dashboard for details.

7. Shipping, Returns & Exchanges

  • Condition: Returns and exchanges accepted only for new items (defective or non-defective).
  • Window: Request within 5 days of delivery.
  • Method: By mail only. Download & print your return label; return shipping cost is on the customer.
  • Restocking Fee: 15% on non-defective returns.
  • Refund Timing: We inspect and approve returns within 5–7 business days, then refunds post to your account within 3–5 business days—up to 12 days total.

8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to our Site or services at any time, without notice, for policy violations or unlawful conduct.

9. Privacy
Use of our Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy. You consent to data practices as described therein.

10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.


Return Policy

We want you to love your HerBooJah pieces—if not, here’s how to return or exchange them:

  • Eligibility: Only new, unused, unwashed items in original packaging and condition.

  • Window: Submit your return or exchange request within 5 days of delivery.

  • How to Return:

    1. Download and print your pre-paid return label from your account.

    2. Pack the item securely in its original packaging.

    3. Drop it off at the designated carrier. (Return shipping is your responsibility.)

  • Defective & Non-Defective: Returns accepted for both defective and non-defective products. Exchanges available upon request.

  • Restocking Fee: A 15% fee applies to all non-defective returns.

  • Refund Timing: Once we receive and inspect your item (within 5–7 business days), we’ll issue your refund. It typically posts to your account within 3–5 business days—up to 12 days total.

  • Non-Returnable Items: Custom-made (bespoke), rented, or swapped pieces.
